I’m Raven (they/she), an Afro-Indigenous, queer, poly human living on Núu-Agha-Tʉvʉ-Pʉ̱, Tséstho’e, and Hinono’eino’ land (so-called Denver). I walk borders as a multi-racial, Two-Spirit person but also as an ATL born, 12th house feisty Aries stellium + 11th house mystic Pisces stellium. As much as I believe in the medicine of stillness, I also believe in - especially for us folks of the diaspora - shaking ass as ceremony, adorning my body as ritual, laughing loudly and experiencing joy together as offering. My ancestors continue to show me the path.

I’m a therapist, spiritual somatic guide, energy mover, and root worker. I’ve danced with burnout and complex trauma for much of my life. I know what it is to be injured by colonized wellness. I know that my own deepest healing has come from speaking less and remembering more. From deeply listening, beyond words spoken in this realm, even when I wasn’t taught how. I unlearn, re-member, and continue to come home to myself and my cultural-spiritual medicines again and again. From root to bloom to root again and again and again.

After over a decade in the wellness world and half a decade in colonized healing modalities (therapy), I have found my way back. My work weaves modern somatics (like EMDR and parts work) with folk medicine, ancestral ritual, root work, movement, spiritual ecology, and deep listening in service of liberation, ancestral connection, and embodied truth.

I believe that healing is not about “fixing” but about returning — to your body, your breath, your roots, your spirit, your people. And that our life’s purpose was never about our healing but about our fulling living. Contractions and expansions, pains and joys, attachments and releases.

I walk with QTBIPOC and BIPOC folks, artists, organizers, activists, and white folks reconnecting with their ancestral lineages.
